Pretty

Well, I don't know which was prettier, Carrie Underwood in her sparkly short shorts or Bogans going top shelf to block a Mavericks' would be easy deuce. Lucky for me, folks, I have Tivo. That's right, I watched the CMA's then watched the Spurs. I was dedicated to staying up and watching the game early into the AM hours. It was worth the lack of sleep. Everyone stepping up and just getting the job done. Manu shooting a last minute shot in the first half from several feet behind the arc for the buzzer beater. Blair beating the Mavericks on the boards like a dusty rug. And would somebody please help Jason Kidd out? George Hill took him to school. The Red Rocket draining a couple well-timed three pointers. Mr. Jefferson was just a showcase of talents. Mason knocked the bottom out of the three point bucket and McDyess became the other big guy I've been talking about. There wasn't ONE guy who got it done. This was the epitome of teamwork. Something else we saw was DEFENSE!!
These guys stopped a team well-versed in scoring without the anchor of the defense itself. The only part of this game you didn't like to see was that the good guys got pretty sloppy in the fourth. After controlling the game, both on offense and defense, they let Dallas back in the game. Dallas got inside four points and then you saw the Spurs get that sense of urgency and step back up to the plate. The silver and black did the deed and pushed the Mavericks back one more game. This year is NOT going to be boring. I'm already looking forward to Oklahoma.
